Note: MinIO is also the default provided by the any-sync docker-compose. |

The technical documentation on self-hosting lists MinIO as a S3-compatible object storage for self-hosting here. However, the status of MinIO has changed since. TLDR; the open-source version of MinIO is no longer maintained (see the repo) and the docker images have not been updated for 10 months. This poses a major inconvenience and/or security risk for self-hosters. The link in the current documentation is redirected to the new closed-source AIstor software. AIstor is available for free but requires registration to obtain a license key.
With this in mind, I would suggest updating the docs to reference the new product name to avoid any confusion with a no longer maintained project.
Moreover, I think that this closed-source licensing model does not reflect the open-source / somewhat decentralized values of Anytype very well. I am aware of the limited number of S3-compatible stores, but I believe AIstor does not belong on the list of software suggested for use with Anytype.
