I understand your frustration regarding the new home newsfeed and its potential interference with work productivity. Not being able to easily revert to a previous, more preferable manner of working can indeed be disconcerting. Suggestions to improve this issue may include:
Lastly, the motto ultimately should be to create a user-centric approach in design so the platform caters to the paying customers' needs and preferences, further enabling a conducive workspace. |

I saw the new home newsfeed, which I don't want, and saw a link to this feedback forum before I saw any option to remove/revert. I feel like graphic design wise this shouldn't stand out more than that. I don't see anything to revert.
The classic response here would be "use the search bar" but honestly that's dismissing UX as a field. It shouldn't require a forum search for me to remove an algorithm newsfeed on a work website. This isn't Facebook, and if the attention economy fights me during work hours then it's hard to justify staying here - especially as a paying customer. Youtube gets by here by allowing paid subscriptions to remove all ads (although admittedly another algorithm home page, I wish that was removed in paid tiers too).
