@craftytech you should have a look at RunsOn. Much simpler to install and maintain, and it comes with compatible images for both x64 and arm64. |

Self Hosted Runners in K8 / custom docker image

Hello Folks,
I've successfully deployed our self hosted runner using both gha-runner-scale-set-controller and gha-runner-scale-set helm charts. So far, it works as expected. What I can't figure out is how to use a customized docker image for the runners. The default
ghcr.io/actions/actions-runner:latest
doesn't have the necessary tools to run the jobs. How can I use a custom image? Is it something I override in the values file of the helm chart ?Beta Was this translation helpful? Give feedback.
