hello, im very frustrated, its been a week since github suspendenm y account, i was never given a reason, i dont know why, i cannot reach support using my account bc there is no way i can log in it states that im suspended, when I try to authenticate for the support ticket it asks for SMS validation , im in costa rica with a costa rican number it doesn allow me to validate bc im not in the list of supported countries for sms validation it keeps saying my number is invalid.

i want to appel and request reinstatement, but I have no way to get to the support team with my account.

honestly i just want to get back my work, all of it is there.... Im really frustrated with this. any dieas from anyone_ i know my account cannot be fix here, but maybe someone can help me on what to do.

Here is how you can bypass the SMS validation block and reach GitHub Support:

1. Submit Ticket without Logging In: Navigate directly to https://support.github.com/contact/cannot-sign-in in an Incognito / Private browser window.
2. Alternative Authentication / Verification: When filling out the form, explain clearly that you cannot complete SMS authentication because local Costa Rican phone numbers are currently not receiving the SMS validation codes.
3. Verify Account Ownership: In the ticket body, provide:
   • Your exact account username
   • The verified email address associated with the account
   • Details of your recent repository commits or payment/billing method linked to the account to prove ownership.

Submitting the ticket through the non-logged-in portal will allow GitHub Support to manually verify your identity without requiring SMS 2FA.

I did as you mentioned, but it always asks me for hpone SMS confirmation. i cant get to submit a ticket no matter what i do.
