The credit: search is the real count. The profile highlight is not recalculated continuously. It moves when a credit is accepted, and a credit accepted while the advisory was still a repository level draft does not get counted again when the advisory is published to the database. That is why yours, and the other profiles you listed, sit exactly one or two behind the search. There is no recount action on the profile side, and nothing in settings or the API rebuilds it. The advisories and the accepted credits are correct, only the counter is stale, and the fix has to happen on GitHub's side. |

My profile Highlights show 1 security advisory credit, but the linked search (
credit:MrCloudSec) returns 2 GitHub-reviewed advisories where I'm credited and accepted the credit:Both are reviewed, not withdrawn, and the credit state is
accepted. The only difference is that I accepted the second credit before the advisory reached the Advisory Database. It looks like the profile count is only recalculated when a credit is accepted.Other profiles show the same pattern (e.g. arkark: 9 on the profile vs 11 in the search; ChALkeR: 12 vs 13).
