I applied to get sponsorship for an OSS project I'm running but it's still in pending with a message above "We need more information" I've gone through the application for several times and I can't see what more information I need to provide.

Is this a long process?

I encountered the same issue, it has been a week now and it always shows "pending". I cancelled my application, reviewed my submitted materials and initiated a new application.

I'm not sure if anyone from Github is monitoring the sponsorship section (or it doesn't appear to be) - have you tried contacting Github or tweeting them that usually gets the desired results?

My application was just approved yesterday night : D

I raised a ticket 3 days ago to ask GitHub Support, why my application was always been in 'Pending' status, is there any information I missed in the application? Yesterday, GitHub Support replied to me and approved my application.

Maybe you can try it this way too. Here are the steps:

Scroll to the bottom of this page, click 'Contact GitHub', then click 'GitHub Sponsors' in Community section. Scroll to the bottom again, and click 'Contact us' button (under Can't find what you're looking for?), then select 'Account or billing issue', complete and send the ticket, then wait for their reply.
