LocalStack.NET v1.x support has ended

The LocalStack.NET v1.x line, which uses AWS SDK for .NET v3, reached the end of its announced maintenance window in July 2026. We no longer provide bug fixes, security patches, or new service mappings for v1.x. Existing packages and the sdkv3-lts branch remain available, but availability is not a support commitment.

AWS ended support for SDK for .NET v3 on June 1, 2026. For maintained LocalStack.NET packages, migrate to v2.x, which uses AWS SDK v4. This migration changes the explicit .NET Framework target from 4.6.2 to 4.7.2. See our security policy, v2 changelog, and migration announcement.
