With the recent news about Deno I am trying to figure out if Deno would be worth forking / continuing to maintain or if it would be possible to just add all of the best things about Deno to Node.js. Is there anything fundamentally superior about the architecture of Deno over Node that couldn't reasonably be added to Node that would justify continuing to develop Deno as a replacement for Node or would it be reasonable to be able to merge all of the best features of Deno into Node so as many people as possible could benefit and there could be less fragmentation? Is there anything about the architecture of Node vs Deno that would make it harder to implement more secure sandboxing in Node vs Deno? What would it take to be able to safely run untrusted code similar to a browser?
