Does host.orb.internal's IPv4 ever change?

I see from Connecting to Mac servers in the docs that the special hostname to contact the mac host from inside a Linux machine is host.orb.internal. This resolves to IPv4 198.19.248.254 for me.

My question is, does this IPv4 ever change? I'd like to use it in my machine's /etc/hosts file, as my app wants to connect to a different hostname.

Please don't hard-code it. It may not be changing right now but we reserve the right to change it in any release because the only the domain names are public API.

One option is for you to write a simple script that calls host/nslookup/dig to get the IP and add it to /etc/hosts.
