Is it actually usable now? #1624

We have documentation for self-hosting available on our GitHub repository: https://github.com/stoatchat/self-hosted
The voice system was reworked and it also supports video and screen sharing, it's also available for self-hosted instances. Do note that it's still in its early days and has some issues, you can report them on https://github.com/stoatchat/for-web/issues
This is still the case due to the fact that we don't allow self-hosted instances to use our assets, and the android app assets are hardcoded to use our own. Though, work is being made to allow the web, desktop, and mobile apps to connect and use assets from that instance. |
Uh oh!
There was an error while loading. Please reload this page.
Last time I checked (when the Discord privacy controversy started) the web app had a bunch of general basic bugs and errors during normal usage, I think there was no self-host docs, voice chat didn't work and were in rework and the android app didn't work with self-hosted instances
Has that changed by now? I find mixed information
