Version 0.6.4
Tested on Samsung Galaxy S4 and Nexus 10.

Beginning with version 0.6.4 all the total counts of unread articles are 0. The number of unread items of the seperate feeds are counted correctly (see screenshot).
I've refreshed all feeds, cleared the cache and tested it on two devices, this bug is 100% reproducible.

Weird.. Please give me some informations about your Server Setup (e.g. ownCloud Version, ownCloud News App Version). I've tested the app on my HTC One X (Android 4.4.2) and a Tablet Emulator (Android 4.2) with 6000+ unread items and everything works correctly. Anyway thanks for the report!

The Owncloud version is 6.0.3 on x86-Linux, the News App is version 2.002 installed and updated through the Owncloud interface, no git clone etc. Both Android devices are using Android 4.4.2.

The setup worked for months as expected and I'm able to read the articles with 0.6.4 Android app but only the unread counts of the different folders are wrong and set to 0. When I refresh the feeds new folders are listed but the unread item count is 0 too, opening the folder the correct number of new items is shown.

The total count shown in the first row "All unread items" is correct though, 68 in the screenshot above.

Please let me know how I can help to track down the bug.

Okay thank you! I'm going to make some tests. Currently I'm using an older version of ownCloud (Version 5) and News App Version (1.). Probably the new version causes the problem.

I've setup a new ownCloud (Version 6.0.3 with News Version 2.002) and I can't reproduce the problem. Probably you can offer me a test account for your ownCloud instance?

Okay I got another idea.. Please install the following apk. I've added a new menu item "Create Database Dump". Create a dump and send me the .db file please. Then I can import the dump and try to fix the issue. No user data (login credentials) are included in the dump. Only your news feeds.

Okay I found the issue. It's really weird that it was working for me.. I made a mistake in the SQL statement. I'm going to publish the update this evening. I'm sorry for the intricateness.

Great, would you please update the APK in the GitHub repo too ? I try to avoid Google and anything from binary-only sources....thank you !

Sorry I forgot to push the changes into the git repo yesterday. It's online now!

Thank you for updating the APK, I downloaded it twice, the changelogs states that I'm using 0.6.5 but the bug is still there. The "Create database backup" is still there too. I even reinstalled the app just to be sure to have the right one installed.

Are you sure you uploaded the right version ?

Yes it's definitely the right version. I hope the bug is fixed? I haven't removed the "Create Database backup" yet. Probably I'm creating a sub-section in the Settings where you can find this option under "Developer Settings".

Okay, I've double checked APK and installation but the bug still remains, all folder counts are still 0.

I'm sorry.. there was still another issue. I've imported your Database dump and I was able to reproduce the problem. It's fixed now. Please try version 0.6.6. I hope everything works now!
