Widget always empty

I just discovered that there is also a ownCloud News widget. But it is always empty. Any idea what's wrong? Did I missed any configuration option?

I'm using the Andoid News app from f-droid, version 0.9.0 on Android 4.4.4

Thank you for the report! I did some tests yesterday and my widget was empty as well! But no errors in the LogCat. After restarting my phone this morning everything was working as expected.. I've no idea what was the problem..

Sometimes I see some news in the widget. It started to work after I received a update a few days ago (fdroid version: 0.9.1) so I assumed that it was fixed by the update. But it seems to have still a strange update behavior and is not always in sync with the app. For example right now the widget is empty but if I open the App I see 5 new articles.

I'm having an empty widget although when I open the reader, I can see unread articles. Tried refreshing the reader, clicking and resizing the widget, but nothing appears in the widget. Removing and re-adding the widget adds the unread articles to the widget. Any ideas? Is there some way to refresh the widget?

I'm using the latest version from F-Droid.
