Are there any plans to host translations of documents of ownCloud? I have already completed translation into Turkish and will host on my server if you don't have any plans.

The commit is: https://github.com/wakeup/documentation/commit/9107078d38336aeb9b3b0db44e57b5a641fbd545

That's a tricky question and difficult to anwser. We could add repositories and urls for documentation in different languages. But we already have roubl to keep the english one up to date. Documentation in othewr languages will probably be outdated in notime. What do you think?

Too hard to keep up to date and false documentation is worse than no documentation IMO

I have never worked in this format, but found this page http://sphinx-doc.org/latest/intl.html. I can review the document one more time and read that page. I can also update the obsolete parts if you agree that. Currently Git SCM book is also using this format and they are using sub directories for different translations: https://github.com/progit/progit

@karlitschek As a solution, we may follow KDE's documentation translation method. After I review and update the documentation, we can create subdirs and let users to translate the document pages, if we modify a page, we send an announcement to translators and wait to update the pages. If they don't update, we can add a notice like this page may have untranslated or out-of-date text, please consider using English page etc.

And here is the test configuration of localizations on transifex: https://www.transifex.com/projects/p/owncloud-user-documentation/

I think if we keep documents up to date, it is very easy to translate them and I can always try to keep them updated.
