Problem

I would love to use my pastes on my iphone, unfortunately maccy doesn‘t do icloud sync.

I would love to see an ios app with cloud sync support in the future

Maccy uses many macOS-specific APIs so the iOS app would need to be written from scratch. I don't see myself investing in a complete re-write at this point. Sorry about that,

@Xytronix i thought I'd share a tip with you as a workaround, because technically Maccy does sync with iCloud:

• ensure that iCloud is logged in with same Apple ID on both devices
• Turn on "Hand Off" settings on both devices
• Open Maccy
• search for and select the saved clipboard data you want to paste on iOS (works best if you don't enable "Paste Automatically")
• Paste on your iPhone
  I've tested this and it works. Hope that helps you!

@jnubz yes this works for both sides irregularly when in the same wifi.

@p0deje is this something you would like to reopen with Maccy 2.0?

@p0deje [Not sure if this is an appropriate question to ask here, but] if you don't/won't/can't use Maccy on iOS, what is your clipboard manager of choice for iPhone? I've been looking for one but can't find anything that matches Maccy 🙈
