v2.22.6
Ships cargo-pmcp 0.28.0: the deploy-target fixes from the forecast-coach field report
(#399, #400, #401, #402, #403). pmcp moves 2.22.5 -> 2.22.6 with no code change of its own, to
mint the tag. No library crate changes. The full notes are in cargo-pmcp/CHANGELOG.md.
Verified end to end against real AWS (us-east-1) and GCP (us-central1) before tagging:
- aws-lambda: first deploy through the native CloudFormation engine, no-change redeploy, rename,
outputs, destroy, and thenpx cdk deployfallback. - google-cloud-run: fresh init, Artifact Registry create and push, verification on
/mcp, and
thewarn/failexit codes.
Breaking (cargo-pmcp)
cargo pmcp deploy initkeeps an existing.pmcp/deploy.tomlinstead of resetting it, and
gains--name.- New projects default
[server] nameto the package name with one trailing-lambda
stripped.
Fixed (cargo-pmcp)
- aws-lambda: a rename could silently replace a running deployment.
deployanddestroynow refuse when the CDK app declares a different stack.app.tsfollows[server] name, so a rename creates a second stack.destroydeletes{name}-stackdirectly through CloudFormation.
- aws-lambda: the native CloudFormation engine could not create a stack. AWS SDK errors were
matched by their display text ("service error"), so "does not exist" was never recognised. - aws-lambda: the native path ignored
deploy.toml. It now honours[server] memory_mb,
timeout_seconds, the newephemeral_storage_mb,[environment]and the new[build]
features on both deploy paths. - google-cloud-run: the generated Dockerfile could not build a
*-lambdapackage. It now
builds[server] binaryby name. - google-cloud-run: deploy defaults and checks.
- The absolute-path check reads the parsed manifest, so commented-out lines no longer block a
deploy. [gcp] regiondefaults tous-central1..dockerignoreexcludes all oftarget/.- New inits push to Artifact Registry.
- Verification probes
[server] mcp_path, which defaults to/mcp.
- The absolute-path check reads the parsed manifest, so commented-out lines no longer block a
--on-test-failure warnexits 0, as documented, on every target.
