Where did they go (e.g. "../diamondback/motion_retargetting.rosinstall" )? I can't find them anymore. :-(

The overlay stack for ROS diamondback was a huge mess. I decided to not maintain it anymore. I removed that rosinstall file because I can no longer provide guarantees that things will work in diamondback. If you want to give it a try, fetch the rosinstall file from the repo history.

Wrt the electric motion retargetting rosinstall file. I have one locally committed, but I wasn't thinking of pushing it until the openni overlay issue is fixed. It differs from the default PAL Robotics rosinstall only in that it adds the reem_teleop stack.

I would like to drop diamondback support as soon as we have a working electric installation. We are both not working with Diamondback and - as you mentioned - the overlay stuff is annoying.

I just added a new rosinstaller for groovy, which only contains the reem_teleop stack.
rosdep together with a correct list of dependencies should to the rest.
