GPSd dot does not move when GCS moves #658
Comments
sounds like a bug and not a feature request to me... |
On precise we still have libgps-dev 3.4, maybe has something to do with commit 18dbffb which updated it for gps-dev 3.5? |
Seems to work as expected here (providing your gps is providing proper data and time). |
- fix nan checks and warnings - default to broadcast instead of multicast on linux - make ivy_bus, gpsd server and port configurable via commandline - added verbose mode which should help to track down issue #658
Pushed gpsd improvements to master... |
Thx, you're just to fast fixing :-) did not have field laptop in weekend, will test again asap |
Tested and this fix makes it work again, GPSd dot moves when walking GCS |
um...ok... didn't really change anything regarding the publishing of the message, that is the same as before (which also already worked for me). |
[FEATURE] As a user I would like to see the GPSd ( http://wiki.paparazziuav.org/wiki/GPSd_position ) dot move if I move my GCS. Right now one needs to stop/start the gpsd2ivy then it hops to new location.
