Actionable

Typed, composable Ruby service objects. The canonical documentation lives in the repository — this wiki is only an index that points to it, so there is one version-controlled, doctested source of truth (no drift).

Documentation

  • README — overview, quick start, the three outcomes, adapters.
  • USAGE — dense, example-first reference (every example is doctested in CI).
  • CHANGELOG — release history.
  • SKILL guide — for AI assistants working in projects that use Actionable.
  • Design plan & decisions — decisions D1–D17, slice plan, glossary.

Releases

  • v1.1.0 — DX guardrails (DefinitionError) and Action.describe introspection.
  • v1.0.0 — first feature-complete release.

Maintainers: keep documentation in the repo (README.md / USAGE.md), not here. Those are doctested in CI and ship with the gem; this page is just a pointer. Update the links above only if files move.
