Typed POROs for Ruby — declare fields with enforced types, presence checks, and per-field validation. Mirrors the ActiveModel interface shape where it helps adoption, but reuses none of its code.
This wiki is intentionally thin. It's a map, not a manual. All real documentation lives in the repo so there's a single source of truth — every link below points there. If you came here to read the docs, follow a link.
- README — what FieldStruct is (and isn't), install, and a guided tour of every feature.
- Getting started — task-first tutorial: your first model, JSON in/out, nesting, errors, and a Rails section.
- USAGE — dense, example-first reference: types, field options, class macros, validation semantics, gotchas.
- CHANGELOG — what changed in each release.
- Design invariants & intent — the rules every change is checked against; what FieldStruct is/isn't.
- Design rationale (history) — the frozen design record behind the original decisions. Read as history, not current state.
- Code of Conduct
Found a doc problem? Fix it in the repo, not here — the wiki only links out.
