Open web page, Select "Enter Immersive Reader..." icon.

Which browser are you using now? Chrome? Edge? Where is that icon?

Doesn't work... Warning pop-up appears

I've never seen a read:// handler before.

I'm using the new chromium-based Edge..
Microsoft Edge is up to date.
Version 79.0.308.1 (Official build) dev (64-bit)

Loading this link form the NYTimes... (as example)
https://www.nytimes.com/2019/10/27/smarter-living/career-advice-overcome-setback.html

The read icon is here...

I believe this is similar to Firefox's "Toggle Reader View" (F9), whose icon is also at the end of the URL.

I guess that issue needs to go to https://github.com/qownnotes/web-companion/issues.

But I've yet no idea how to handle that permission or how to fetch a page in Edge Reader Mode.

Can you move this to web-companion/issues...

FWIW, it fails too with Firefox extension in Reader mode.
