Okay, so you want to scrape the calendar image for the location field set on the calendar event?
Let's have a look at that.
Please bare in mind that the image does not always update immediately, it can take up to an hour or two, due to issues with the Flows fetching the data from Google. This is also only set up for your next upcoming calendar event.
- A google account
- An API key for your Google account
- Ability to follow the steps to set up the correct APIs
- KLWP
- Enable APIs on your Google Account
- Generate an API Key
- Set up Kustom Globals
- Set up Kustom Flows
- Display the images
Here's an example of how it can look:
Using a location on the calendar event, the image is pulled into KLWP through the maps API and flows
If no location is set, but a keyword matches the list, it will use the appropriate image
If no location is set, and no keywords are matched, the image falls back to "planmyday" as a generic header image
