HMSL now only listens to its own MIDI port, which appears as "HMSL MIDI Destination" in the port listing of your favorite MIDI application. This helps stem the flow of MIDI messages.

Whereas before HMSL just listened on all ports, all the time, now it only listens on its own "HMSL MIDI Destination," hopefully stemming the unending flow of repeated messages in MIDI.SCOPE.
