Files panel cannot rename, delete, or create files and folders

What happened

In the Files panel I cannot do basic file management: rename, delete, new file, or new folder. I have to switch to Finder or an editor for each change.

Requested change: Add Rename, Delete, New File, and New Folder to the Files panel right-click menu, with matching server endpoints. Move deleted items to the system trash, or ask for confirmation, so a wrong click cannot lose work.

Diagnosis

These actions do not exist in 0.1.6 on the client or the server.

• The right-click menu in apps/web/src/fileContextMenu.ts:59-87 has only Open, Reveal in Finder, and Open with.
• apps/web/src/components/files/FileBrowserPanel.tsx sets dragAndDrop: { canDrop: () => false }, so moving files by drag is also off.
• packages/contracts/src defines no server API to rename, delete, or create workspace files or folders.

The feature needs new server endpoints and new menu items. Delete needs a confirmation step, or a move to the system trash, because agents and users share the same workspace.

Steps to reproduce

1. Open a thread in the desktop app and open the Files panel.
2. Right-click a file or a folder. The menu has no Rename, Delete, New File, or New Folder item.
3. Look in the Files panel toolbar for New File or New Folder. Neither exists.

macOS (Darwin 27.0.0, arm64), Node 26.12.1, desktop app connected to its local server

Evidence

No runtime error. This is a missing feature. See the source references in Diagnosis (tag v0.1.6, commit 2359643c).

None found. Searched for file explorer, file tree, file browser, files panel, and rename file. #14438 (closed) asked for Markdown editing on mobile, which is a different feature.

Fix applied or workaround

Use Reveal in Finder from the right-click menu, then do the change in Finder.
