  • 👋 Greetings, I’m @pkwzimm, a historian and anthropologist with the Center for Equitable Policy in a Changing World. I co-founded and edited the data journalism site Principally Uncertain and have published much of my work on language and politics in Spain (most recent).
  • 👀 I’m interested in the real-world effect of political discourse and ideology, focusing on climate and environmental politics and ideology, nationalism and regionalism, politics in online media, and the organization and ideological articulation of radical movements.
  • 🌱 I’m continually trying to expand my toolkit, focusing both on quantitative methods (web scrapers, data science, and natural language processing scripts) and qualitative methods (archival research, ethnography, oral history, survey design).
  • 💞️ I’m looking to collaborate on any projects looking at politics, voting rights, climate change, sportsing, or the Hunt for Better Beer.
