From @ksuess in #3934 (comment):

I would like to suggest to move "Dev guidelines" in navigation just after " dev recipes".

Here is a snapshot of our current primary navigation.

Or a copy paste of the navigation in the docs:

Frontend

How should these be reordered, if at all? I think we got the first three in the correct order, but then the rest have no logical order. Should it be sorted by some logical progression (for example, Plone's primary navigation has Install, Upgrade guide, Deployment, Frontend, and so on), beginner to advance topics, alphabetic, or some other order?

I would like to get the opinions of https://github.com/orgs/plone/teams/volto-team before doing any work.

@stevepiercy I'm fine with any proposal, I agree with your sentiment that the docs entry points are all over the place. It's hard to place something in a single category, and the docs just keep growing over time, without a lot of thought over the overall structure. I like the Plone docs toplevel categories, maybe we could do something similar. That's my 2 cents, let's hear from the others.

Closing as completed in #4665.

There will be further reorganization as we move toward Diátaxis, but the items in this issue are complete.
