Cosmic Connect

[M4L-C0ntent]

This is just something I have been working off and on for while because I really like the cosmic desktop but miss the usefulness of KDE Connect. Since I believe it is usable, I decided to upload the project to github. I have built a flatpak version of this project but can't seem to get around all the necessary permissions that are required to run properly. I am no developer but my hopes is that this at least sparks more interest in developing an official applet.

Thanks for your time.

Maybe you could combine efforts with @hepp3n on https://github.com/hepp3n/kdeconnect?

Thank you. I haven't came across this project in searches.

Hey, thanks!

And yeah, I'm working on it in my free time. Want to finish it but I was struggling sometimes ^^ Currently some tasks are implemented partially. Today added Receiving files from Share Request.

Not sure if @M4L-C0ntent want to work with my codebase :D I'm not the best programmer out there haha

Anyway, I started it and I plan to finish. And then make a flatpak release because it should be kind of easy to do since protocol will be implemented internally.

@hepp3n Yea, I'd be happy to help out when I can. I get wanting to finish something yourself. My goal was just to see if I could make a proof of concept work, and maybe inspire someone else to take it further. To be honest, I'm not the most skilled programmer myself. By the way, I did try reaching out to you via email first, but since this thread was still active, I thought it would be better to post here too.
