Postman for Windows is not capturing any requests

Issue Report:

1. Did you encounter this recently, or has this bug always been there:
   I have this issue with the desktop version, switching from the Chrome App
2. Expected behaviour:
   I want to activate request capturing but it is not capturing anything
3. Screenshots (if applicable)

Steps to reproduce the problem

I have to use a proxy at my company:

This is the proxy capture setting in Postman:

These are my proxy settings in Postman (I tried all possible combinations already):

No request in Chrome or IE will show up in my history. Any ideas?

I could see that, in your manual proxy configuration, you've used http://proxy as opposed to localhost which Postman listens to for capturing requests.

Thank you for the quick reply. I put localhost in my network settings, but still no requests are captured. Do you have any further ideas? In theory, every website I visit in chrome should be captured once the proxy is activated, right?

@mattisebastian Can you provide me a bit more details on the issue?
Is postman not capturing any requests? or it is is not capturing specific requests?
The reason is, it is working in our environment.

Hey, it is not capturing any requests at the moment. The only exception being requests sent from Postman itself.

I also tried setting my IP address in the proxy as explained in the postman doc, but no luck.

@mattisebastian I had the same issue on windows but I figured out that my URL Filters were not correct using the postman devTools . Once I fixed the filter, everything was working fine.

Hi franck-fourel, unfortunately I have no active url filters in the proxy.
