middleware? plugins?

we have some plugins in our existing server (pusher, sentry, logging) and I'm curious if the recommendation is to use plugins within nexus to replicate this functionality. I don't want to spend time going down that route if it isn't the best way as it seems plugins are still somewhat in flux.

For now Nexus just gives you an express instance.

I think its so early that you bringing your use-cases to Nexus will help us shape the product. So by all means let us know what you'd like to do/see and we can discuss it further.

Right now these are graphql middleware (https://github.com/prisma-labs/graphql-middleware) I’m going to look at the plugin system tomorrow and see what I can do with it!

I'm just upgrading a project using nexus@0.3.x/prisma@1.34.x from late last year. The biggest gap in the docs/examples for me is how one goes from using graphql-yoga to nexus server. Specifically how to use implement use of middleware like graphql-shield. Consider the abridged example below. For now I will use the @nexus/schema component directly I suppose.
