In case you haven't seen, the Journal of American History just published a review of our site by @lmullen. His comments about trying to offer users pathways through lessons is something we've talked about before, and is related to #193, so if we have time perhaps we should revisit the discussion---if not in this meeting then in the next one.

Sounds good! Don't have access to the review yet.. any chance a PDF could fall off the back of a truck before our call? ;)

Do you want to chair the call @wcaleb? It has really dawned on me that I'm applying for tenure on Thursday so my mental energy is a bit divided this week.

Sure, @ianmilligan1, I can do that. I don't have everyone's contact info: are you still able to get the call started and then bow out if you need to? (That Thursday deadline is way more important!)

Aye @wcaleb – Skyping everybody together is my cup of tea. 👍

We discussed the blog and ways to solicit posts:

  • Look specifically for guest posters who could discuss the process of using a lesson "in the wild"
  • I will write something about the new submissions process
  • Advertise on Twitter that we want guest posts
