Unable to run font sample

Sorry if I've just misunderstood something but I have no clue how to get the font sample to run, as it needs a file to be present on the PS2 referenced as "host:impress.ini", but there is no reference to an impress.ini file existing anywhere. Is the sample broken or does it dynamically build impress.ini in some manner I'm unfamiliar with?

I had the same issue; I was trying to run font.elf sample and there's a missing host:impress.ini that is impossible to find.

The only reference about adding this missing file is in a very old message here:
