Illustrator script for generating a compass and scale indicator to use on a map.
Draw a box, with the width corresponding to the scale length you wish to represent. Run the script and adjust the parameters as necessary:
- Number of tick marks: Number of divisions for the scale indicator.
- Maximum number on scale: Distance represented by the entire width of the scale indicator.
- Unit of measurement: "km" by default.
