More of a question than a issue: Could you upload the rest of those Chapter 3 solutions? If you have them written out, I'd be happy to make the .tex files for you.

Also, what edition did you use? I've been using 2e, which also has a chapter 7, which I see you don't have answers for.

I solved chapter 3 in a notebook. I don't have it in digital form right now.

Yeah, I have been using 2nd edition. I actually didn't get much time to work on it and that's why I haven't yet reached Chapter 7. Patches are welcome!

I was planning to finish chapter 3 but had to stop due to schoolwork. When things calm down I plan to go back and finish the book and if those sections haven't been completed I'll complete them then.

Thanks guys, that'd be really awesome. @psibi If you'd like, you could send me pictures of your solutions and I could try to make the TeX files for you.

Sorry for getting back late. While I can find the notebook and send you the pictures, I don't think so it would be of any help at all. That's because I write proofs in a very informal manner and there is lots of scribbling associated till I get it to prove. While translating it to Tex is when I make the proof available for general consumption. Moreover IIRC, the ordering is screwed up and spread in various parts. It would be easier to start again rather than trying to decipher it.
