For example, for the pepy project on Pypi stats:

Downloads last month: 102
Downloads last week: 7

On Pepy:

Total downloads - 30 days: 372
Total downloads - 7 days: 55

In general I recognize that numbers given by PePy are usually a lot larger. Why?

Hey pypi stats doesn't include data from mirrors.

Do not take the downloads as accurate, neither in Pepy or Pypistats, because the are many variables to take into account: https://packaging.python.org/guides/analyzing-pypi-package-downloads/

The important thing is to look at the trend of the downloads.

Thanks, I guess there is nothing to worry about then.
