This would allow users to connect to a Fusion tables database, making it easy to query and export that database.

+1, although Fusion Tables SQL is pretty restricted. For instance, OR boolean expressions are not supported (!) in the WHERE clause.

From the Fusion Tables issue tracker:

"We are not currently working on this, so no, it's not likely to appear any time soon."

I vote for closing this as WontDoIt :)
