Problem
data.pyg.orgis currently not resolving, which makes the prebuilt wheel index unreachable. Installingtorch-scatter/torch-sparsewith-f https://data.pyg.org/whl/...silently falls back to building from source (or fails withNo matching distribution foundwhen--no-indexis used).Evidence
The domain resolves to a CNAME, but the CloudFront target returns no A record:
An SOA in the authority section instead of A records suggests the CloudFront distribution behind the CNAME is deleted or disabled.
Reproduced from three independent networks:
curl: (6) Could not resolve host: data.pyg.org(PyPI reachable from the same session, so general egress works)DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAINImpact
No prebuilt wheels are reachable for any torch version, so the documented install path in the README and installation docs currently fails. Source builds are not a workaround on environments where the available nvcc does not match the CUDA version torch was built with.
Question
Is this a temporary outage, or has the index moved to a new host? If it has moved, it would help to have the new URL so the docs can be updated.
