Reasons for the request

The certbot-dns-dynu is being used by various other projects and it has been abandoned. We (Dynu) would like to take over the project and update it so that other projects can continue to use it. Currently, many users are contacting us because the project has not been updated in many years and various projects are being forced to remove it due to very old dependencies.

We have attempted to find the maintainer's email address but could not. We have attempted to reach out to the user through an issue in Github but could not.

Below is an example of how a project has removed the support for Dynu because the project has not been maintained. We cannot create a new project because of the nomenclature of the name of the plugin which has to be used with Certbot.

Could you please assist us in becoming a maintainer for this project so that we can maintain it?
