Thanks for your issue. Excelize will be extracted worksheet data into the operating system temporary directory to reduce memory usage if the extracted single XML file size is over 16MB since v2.5.0, and you can change this threshold by UnzipSizeLimit opening the spreadsheet, and the stream writer also will be creating temporary files when generating per worksheet over 16MB. Please make sure their temporary files don't purge in excelize run time and call Close function for workbook and rows/columns streaming iterator after all.
