Is this the best we can do with the 16x16 icon? #7725
Comments
Hell, that's even worse with the inconsistent white border. |
I noticed this, too. I can't believe they shipped icons that look that aliased. |

I advise yout to rename the issue to "The QBT notification area icon with 4.0.0 is very aliased" or such, because the current one doesn't convey any information... |
This is issue was present with the older icon too. It is a Qt bug. I have already reported it there and they have a fix for Qt 5.9.4. (qt bug: https://bugreports.qt.io/browse/QTBUG-63447) The bug is that Qt decides to use a 32x32 icon and Windows downscales it badly to 16x16. (And yes we include a 16x16 icon too). This wasn't so obvious with the previous icon because of the way the icon looks already. In any case, this will be fixed once Qt makes a new release available. |

Yes. I confirm that it seems to work. |
Only 1 icon is not like the others...
