Crash when exiting program [proj_lpz_dist] #28104
Comments
Author Name: Nyall Dawson (@nyalldawson) This particular crash is usually caused by leftover files from a previous older version install. Can you try totally cleaning your install folder and reinstalling?

Fixed in 3.4.7+ with 8e83407 Thanks to @nyalldawson for the fix. |

Still experiencing this in 3.6.3. It's a fresh install; I've never upgraded QGIS on this machine. h2. User Feedback QGIS had been in the background for hours. I gave it focus in order to close it, but it was unresponsive and eventually crashed. Smells like a memory leak to me. h2. ok, but do you have any 3rd party plugin imstalled? if then please follow the directions, try again with a new/clean QGIS profile and without any 3rd party plugin installed. |
It's not plugin related. I have seen this crash a little bit, it's related
to something left over at exit time. This stack trace is missing debug
info. I should be able to get a trace next time it does the same for me.

I have seen this "fixed" by using a completely clean profile. |
Maybe but I suspect it's just a race. I nuke all my profiles quite a lot
while testing and it still happens.
