What is the bug or the crash?

The functionality to hide the dialog when digitizing a child feature in the relation editor (or a parent feature in the relation reference) leads to the problem, that when the dialog is an attribute table docked to the main QGIS window, QGIS disappears (QgisApp).

Steps to reproduce the issue

  • Open attributeform on a layer containing relation editor widget
  • Dock the attributeform
  • Add a new child feature with geometry
  • QGIS disappears
    qgisdisappears

Versions

Supported QGIS version

  • I'm running a supported QGIS version according to the roadmap.

New profile

  • I tried with a new QGIS profile
