Is this library still maintained?

In version 5 of chalk it is written that the function keyword has been removed and it is suggested to use this library. On npm I can see that it is years since it is not published, so is it still maintained?

Yes. Just not frequently. There isn't a lot to upkeep aside from Node.js ecosystem bitrot for the most part.
