Simple command line tool to compute sums over time sheets. The main goal is to pretend to not forget everything about python.
Here is a bunch of simple commands, using date bounds :
- ./TimeSheet.py file.csv
- ./TimeSheet.py file.csv -a 2009-10-04
- ./TimeSheet.py file.csv --after 1998-03
- ./TimeSheet.py file.csv -b 2022-02-22
- ./TimeSheet.py file.csv --before 2022-02-22
- ./TimeSheet.py file.csv -a 2000 -b 2001-06
Here is another bunch of commands, using grouping options :
- ./TimeSheet.py file.csv --cols=AM,PM
- ./TimeSheet.py file.csv --cols=AM,PM+AM
- ./TimeSheet.py file.csv --cols=1,2+AM
Here is a some commands to show the signum option :
- ./TimeSheet.py file.csv --sign=+
- ./TimeSheet.py file.csv --sign=-
It's helpful to know that dates are stored as plain text. So the format isn't modifiable but it allows easy and quick partial dates usage (including me :).
- 2011-12-22 Added signum option
- 2011-10-09 Added column grouping option
- 2011-10-05 Refined time filtering options to use standard syntax
