node-ini

Simple ini reader for Node.js.

Features

• sections (all sections are converted in lowercase)
• section inheritance
• comments # comment or ; comment
• object notation

See file.ini and file.js for more details.

Usage

Default section is named default.

parse(string, callback)

var ini = require('ini');
ini.parse('foo = bar', function(err, value) {
    if (err) throw err;
    console.log(value);
});

parseSync(string)

Synchronous version of parse. Returns the ini values.

parseFile(filename, callback)

var ini = require('ini');
ini.parseFile(__dirname + '/file.ini', function(err, value) {
    if (err) throw err;
    console.log(value);
});

parseFileSync(filename)

Synchronous version of parseFile. Returns the ini values.

Test

$ expresso -I ./lib -c ./test/*.test.js
