@hybe2022 welcome, and thanks, you have a point. That register is the hydro board's external sensor input, and what hangs on it is the installer's choice in field setting [C-08]: an outdoor sensor or a room sensor. The definitions cannot tell which, and 28 of them took the room reading, so on your unit the label is simply wrong. I'll change it to a neutral one in the next beta, something like "Auxiliary sensor (R6T) - Room / Outdoor", in the German files as well. Renaming values per install on the web page is not planned: Home Assistant does that per entity, and the page follows the definition. For the home page, you are right that when [C-08] is "outdoor sensor" the unit runs its weather-dependent curve from that sensor, not from the outdoor unit's. The board cannot read [C-08], so I'll add a choice in Settings → Heat pump for the outdoor temperature shown: the outdoor unit's sensor (default) or the external one. Until then the R1T will stay. BTW, you might not have seen it, but in #599 I asked you and @sorin-oancea for a few inverter current and meter watt pairs at different loads, for the power factor setting. Your model and the phases set in Settings → Energy and cycles would help too. Thanks! |

@raomin
I use esplatherma 2 since today. Really great work. Thanks for that.
I use an external temperature sensor insteaed of the built-in one. The value is read on the register which currently in the definition is named 'Ext. Raumtemperatursensor (R6T)' 0x61 / 14.
Is it planned to rename definitions on the webif as there are parameter which might be used with different meaning if internal or external temp sensor is used/installed?
External outdoor temperature sensor which I would like to name: R1T-Ext. Außentemperatursensor

I use "model": "Altherma(EPRA E ETSH-X 16P30-50 E series 8-12kW-ECH2O)".
I would also like to exchange the outdoor temperature on the dashboard with the value of the external outdoor temp sensor.
8.9 is used on the dashboard, but I would like to see the value 9.3 of the more precise external outdoor temp sensor.
