Claim:

when user hits refresh:

  • control arm: we record event (tab, site, meta keys)
  • treatment arm: we sometimes[1] ask why. Users then choose from one of several reasons (more content, broken in various ways, "I am a dev").

We use this to guide / tune / know if / how strongly page-refresh by a user indicates page problems.

[1]. Sometimes: at most once per session, at random, proportional to how many times they refreshed on that site, up to 10
