Run the generated command as root in a shell on the firewall: SSH is the most reliable, and Diagnostics → Command Prompt → Execute Shell Command also works. No file upload is needed, since the installer detects pfSense and creates the rc.d service and boot wrapper itself. The generated curl | bash command only needs bash in PATH, which you already have. |

Correction to my earlier reply: do not run a generated command containing a token in pfSense’s GUI command runner or paste it into a shell; history and logs can retain it. Use a root SSH shell on the firewall, keep the token in a private file, and download and inspect the installer before running it with |

I need to install pulse agent 6.4.1 on pfsense 2.9 CE. I have installed bash and know how to generate a token and get the install commands. My question is how to run the install commands on the pfsense system. Do I run it a secure shell? Do I run them from within the pfsense GUI (Diagnostics>Command Prompt>Execute Shell Command)? Do I copy them into a file, upload the file to pfsense and run that or what? Can the install commands be run on the pfesene as is or do I need to add anything else?
