Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives is a popular TV show on Food Network hosted by celebrity chef Guy Fieri. Now on its 30th season, the show shines a spotlight on the independent restaurants serving up delicious comfort food across North America.
This dashboard features an interactive map that allows the user to discover the cities and restaurants visited by Fieri. Dropdown menus also allow for the featured restaurants to be filtered by season and/or location.
- The names and locations of restaurants were obtained from Wikipedia
- GeoPy was used to fetch the coordinates of the establishments
- With the help of these coordinates, the restaurants' ratings and price points were looked up using the Yelp Fusion API
