How to I tell nodemon that it is not required even though I required it?

Why?

You can change the flag, but it's too late at that point, the binding is already in place. It might be useful to know what you're trying to do - it might be I know the answer.

I have a script that generates settings for nodemon on startup. So I am trying to include nodemon but still get debug output.
