I noticed this version in your YouTube video is different from the one on on here in that it has a 3.3v header. Was that added to allow things to operate without the usb connection?

If you want to operate the oven without having a powered USB connection attached to the oven then there are two options; either bridge the R7 resistor pads with the supplied 0R 0603 resistor or a blob of solder or a short bit of wire. The second option is to cut the trace on the bottom of the board which goes to the RST pin as this is only needed to program the oven for the first time with the new firmware. Once you have reprogrammed the oven you can enter programming mode by holding down the F1 key during power up.

Hi,
First thaks for the work and the shafing really amazing.
Wanted to implement a MAX31850/31855 board ( will build both for fun and test) BUT
I Noticed that we used the GP2/GP3 outputs of your MAX 2221 for programming and (I suppose) get rid of the manual procedure of ISP/reset.

Q1: Which flasing software support this.
Q2: Does it extenssible to the USB/uART chips( I have some FT232 and CH340)
Thank you again
