could you please tag a stable version for packagist / composer?
ATM there are only DEV versions available...

@rmccue any news or plans towards a stable tagged version?

This is on my to-do list, but I want to make sure I get the testing suite sorted. See #47.

The 1.6 release is 1 month behind schedule. Could you please create a v1.6-alpha tag so that we can pin our composer.json files to that?

If you do, I'll get off your back and you can take however long you want to release 1.6.

(the assumption being that a v1.6-alpha tag can be used as 'rmmcue/requests' => '1.6-alpha' in Composer)

Yep, a v1.6.0-alpha tag works fine:

{
    "require": {
        "scribu/requests": "1.6-alpha"
    },
    "repositories": {
        "scribu-requests": {
            "type": "vcs",
            "url": "https://github.com/scribu/Requests.git"
        }
    }
}

Apart from this issue, there are only 3 issues left for 1.6:

  • SSL certificates (security) in #63
  • Sessions (to match cookies) in #62
  • Small documentation issue in #33

The aim is to push the release out this week as soon as I have spare time. Also considering bumping to 2.0 given the size of the release, but we'll see. If I can't get it out this week, I'll certainly tag an alpha for you.

Marking as duplicate of #76.

Welp, it's been 8 days.
